Cataracts and irregular astigmatism can present challenges when cataract surgery is imminent. This course will cover the causes of irregular astigmatism and whether it should be addressed before, at the time of or after cataract surgery. A review of surgical and non-surgical treatment options of irregular astigmatism when cataract surgery is necessary will be discussed.
